INS
VIKRAMADITYA ENTERS NAVY'S AREA OF OPERATION
India's recently acquired aircraft carrier has now
entered the Indian Navy's area of operation.
The 45,000 tonne aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya
set sail from the Barents Sea off the Russian Coast last month.
These stunning visuals show the Vikramaditya accompanied by the Viraat and the
frigates , Trikhand and Talwar and the destroyer ships INS Delhi and
Mumbai.
This is the first time in over 20 years that India is operating 2 aircraft
carriers at the same time.
The 45,000 tonne aircraft carrier was inducted into the Indian Navy by Union
Defence Minister A K Antony at a Russian port on November 16, 2013.
